Kingsbury Greek School Receives Award

Annie Mina and Andreas Soteriou receiving the Award from Akhita Benjamin

In June 2011, the Kingsbury Greek School was awarded the Bronze Award in the Quality Framework for Supplementary Schools. Mrs Annie Mina and Mr Andreas Soteriou were very proud to receive the Award on  behalf of the School. The school had to achieve certain certain standards in its policies and procedures in order to be awarded. There was also a visit from Akhita Benjamin, pictured above, who is the Mentor for the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education. during her visit, Akhita observed lessons, spoke to the children, the teachers and committee members. She was very impressed during her visit. Our school is one of 190 schools who have achieved the Bronze Award out of 5,000 supplementary schools in England.
